FAQ’s

1. What is the Registration procedure?

A. For initiating any medical treatment with OPD or Indoor, Registration at Reception located at ground floor is a must. Reception remains open round the clock. However, each time the patient has to carry his registration document and show it at the Reception for
proceeding further.
 
For Registration don’t forget to bring the following:
•Doctor’s referral letter along with diagnostic reports, X-Rays, Ultra- Sonography reports, if any
•List of medications you are presently taking
•Health Insurance documents, if any.
 

2. What is the procedure of Admission?

A.Based on advice from Consultant, if you require admission, then you need to complete required formalities at “Reception Counter” at ground floor, which is open round the clock.
 
The treating consultant shall specify the tentative duration of your stay in the hospital and based on that an advance payment has to be made at the Reception Desk.
 
The admission procedure covers some formalities to avoid future complications.

 

Admission of Corporate/Insurance Patients:

If your account is to be settled by any empanelled companies / organizations / Third Party Administrator (TPA), you must bring with you an authorization letter from the company clearly indicating that they have taken the financial responsibility for all medical treatment. Your treatment will be in the category as specified by your organization.
 
The hospital will invite you for detailed discussion in case any ‘Package’ has to be finalized. Further, you should feel free to enquire about approximate cost of treatment, hospital charges, cost of investigations etc., either during admission or earlier from our Reception/Billing Section for efficient time management and decision taking.
 
During the hospitalization period, if you require any assistance please feel free to contact the following departments respectively: “Reception Counter”located at ground floor and “CorporateUnit” located at first floor.
 

3. What types of Rooms are available in the hospital and what are their charges?

The choice is wide and the per day room rent tariff(for cash patient) at present is as follows:
• Ward Room:@ Rs. 2000/- per day
• Private Rooms:@ Rs. 3400/- per day
• Deluxe Rooms :@ Rs. 4000/- per day
• ICU/CCU :@ Rs. 5800 per day

* Private rooms are provided with Bed, Attendant’s Bed, Television, Air Conditioner, Fan, Portable Table, Chair, Bed side locker, Attached toilet with toiletries, Gyser, Almirah and call bell
 
* Deluxe rooms are provided with Bed, Attendant’s Bed, Television, Air Conditioner, Fan, Portable Table, Chair, Bed side locker, Attached toilet with toiletries, Gyser, Almirah, call bell and Refrigerator.
 
All Private rooms / Deluxe rooms are provided on first come first served basis subject to availability. Request for room change, if any, has to be made at the Reception Counter/Nursing Station, who would try to accommodate your request as soon as possible, subject to availability.

 

4. What are the visiting time for attendants?

A.To allow ourpatients a rest period and facilitate efficient working of our staff, we encourage less visits by the visitors during their patients stay in the Private Rooms/ Ward in the hospital. The hospital has defined visiting hours for ICU, in which one attendant is permitted at the patient’s bedside during following hours:

8:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. 12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.
4:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. 8:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

 

5. Is Food from home is allowed?

A. A healthy diet can nourish you better during your days of sickness. Our dieticians will plan and work out the diet most suitable for you, in consultation with your treating doctor.
So Food for the patient is provided by the Hospital.
 

6. Does the hospital have 24 x 7 Emergency Care?

A. Yes, the hospital has 24 x 7 x 365 days ‘Emergency Care’.
